In this section we hope to support all the local guys and gals working on the local shoots who provide excellent service allowing the guns to enjoy their day. All of us here do beating whenever we can and maybe when Lenny is properly trained we'll have a go a picking up (if any local shoots will allow us!).

We want to provide a service to you guys on finding local shoots looking for your skills as well as providing quality equipment & clothing for you to carry out your sometimes difficult and arduous tasks...so read on and we hope to see you soon. Local Shoots Section

If you are a local shoot looking for Beaters, Picker-Up or Guns then let us know. We are building a database of people looking for these opportunities and then can assist in making your shoot day a memorable day if you are caught short. Whether you need more beaters or a gun or two to fill in we can hopefully help.

Beaters Wanted

We have a shoot near Dartington looking for beaters for twelve Saturdays during the season. The beaters do get paid to cover expenses and of course lunch is provided! The shoot is ideally looking for at least one beater with a trained dog but if you can offer your services as a beater they will be interested.

Driven Shooting

We are working closely with a new driven shoot for the 2012 / 2013 season operating between 50 & 150 bird days. There will be twenty five plus days available and you will be able to book your shooting party onto the shoot through The Country Sports Shop. For every team of six or more guns booked on a hundred or more birds through us will will put up a leather cartridge bag for the shot that the guns vote as the best shot of the day.
